Tina has her BA in Psychology and Child Development from San Jose State University and has been teaching preschool for over 11 years. She opened her own home daycare in 2006, then opened Little Prodigy in 2009.
Sepi has been teaching for 25 years. She was a director at a local academic preschool for 8 yrs. She has a BA in Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from San Jose State University and also holds a Site Supervising permit in Child Development.
Kendra has a BA in Sociology from the University of Colorado. She has worked in an administrative capacity in several professional office settings, including law offices and Human Resources. Kendra has been working with children her entire life as a nanny/babysitter as well as helping her mother run a home daycare, and has experience in daycare and school settings. Kendra joined Little Prodigy in December, 2009.
Luz has a BA in Elementary Education and her Site Supervisor Permit. She has been working with children for over 7 years. Before Little Prodigy, Luz was an assistant director at a local Spanish immersion school where she worked for 4 years. She teaches a Spanish lesson to the children at Little Prodigy.
Trang studied Business and Marketing at San Jose State University.She realized her true passion was working with children, so she started teaching at a private, academic school. She then began working at Little Prodigy’s home daycare and moved to the center when it opened in 2009. She is planning to continue her education in Child Development.
Diana is currently working toward her degree in Child Development. She has a BA degree in Interior Design, and has a California Teaching Permit and has been working with children for over 8 years.
Melissa has been working with children for 7 years. She has received several certificates in Child Development and is working toward her BA degree.
Sarah is a recent graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara with her B.A. in Psychology and a love of early education. She has previously worked in a University affiliated preschool, school summer camps, and numerous grade schools classrooms.
Cristina recently graduated from San Jose State University with her Multiple Subject Credentials after getting her BA in Liberal Studies, Preparation for Teaching. She previously worked with children in before and after school programs, summer camps, and in school settings as a substitute teacher.
Mary Jane has a BA in Child and Adolescent Development from San Jose State University along with a Multiple-Subject Teacher Credential. She worked as a substitute teacher for Santa Clara School District and Sunnyvale School District prior to working at Little Prodigy. Mary Jane’s philosophy involves literacy, both in reading and writing. She believes in teaching children to become independent learners.
Shirley has a BA in Child Development from San Jose State University. She has worked with children for over 25 years, including 3 years at the English Language Playschool in Varkaus, Finland. She also has a minor in Theater Arts and remains active in local theater.
Lisa has been working with children for over 10 years. She started as a children’s dance teacher, and has been working with the infant/toddler age group for the past 2 years. She studied Child Development and is currently taking more classes toward her degree. She loves working with children and watching them grow and develop.
Srishti has a MA in Human Resource Development. She loves to see children learn and develop, and after having children of her own, realized her true passion for teaching. She completed her certificate in Early Childhood Education and joined Little Prodigy in 2010.
Sangita has an Association Montessori International recognized diploma from India. She worked in a Montessori school for 3 years before coming to the USA. She has also volunteered her time at a daycare in Sacramento. Her objective is to help each child she works with to be independent and to develop to his/her optimum ability.
Ladan has a BA in Midwifery and a Medical Assistant diploma. She has been working with children for 2 years and particularly enjoys the infant/toddler age group.
Yvonne has worked as a children's librarian and is currently completing her certificate in Early Childhood Education. She also holds a BA in Psychology. She has 2 children of her own.
Amanda Ford has an AA degree in Business/Marketing and for the past two years she has been teaching preschool aged children (3 to 5 years old) through her own nanny share program. Growing up, Amanda trained in gymnastics and dance (which included Tap, Ballet and Jazz). She was on the Irvington High School dance team and even did some Hip Hop at Mission Dance Studio. She started teaching at Dance Attack in January of 2010 with Miss Holly as her mentor. Amanda is teaching Tumbling along with Tiny Tots classes and the new Dancing Darlings program. She joined Little Prodigy in November, 2010 and teaches ballet and tap to our students.
